Following years of cricket in Lanzarote, St. George's C.C. are proud to be among the founders of the current Cricket League here on the Island. As holders of the League title over the past 2 years, we are looking forward to the forthcoming trophy challenges despite finding ourselves slightly under strength following the close season.
The team combines great talent with a hard work ethic and is 100% behind improving the standard of cricket being played in the cup, league and friendly games week in - week out. We are fully committed to upholding fair play and champion the traditions of the game both on and off the pitch.

Los Diablos was formed one Sunday afternoon as Mike and I watched Lanzarote cc play St Georges at Tias football ground. As we watched the game, we both thought "arrrrrrrr we can do that" so a team was born. The sixth team to join the league. With only eight regular players we commenced on our first season, with a record of 4 close defeats and 1 win we actualy came last. YEAR ONE DONE!
This year we are upto full strength with a team that has trained all of pre-season to become a true threat to all in the league. BRING IT ON!

Playa Blanca cc was formed in 2005 and were one of three teams to compete in the first league. Unfortually we have lost many of the people who helped form the club but with the remaining 3 and and some new young talent Playa Blanca look set for a good year. The romours pre-season were that that we would struggle to compete this year due to a shortage of players but with the emergence of some new faces this is far from the case. Playa Blanca cc hold weekley training sessions and try to get as many freindly games as possible anyone is welcome to come along and take part if your interested contact myself or liam on any of above numbers for more info.

We began playing cricket in 1993 with few cricket lovers, this is how we started cricket on a mud ground to play and after an hour of hard work on every sunday to fix a carpet to form a proper pitch.Our small team with passion for cricket went ahead, we started playing matches inviting the teams, practicing cricket from the other islands from 1995.
Our intrest for the cricket to get better, in year 2000 we approached ayuntamiento de yaiza for the football ground available for sundays.
with success and expierience we registered our team on 14/05/2005 with canarian government and formed ASSOCIATION LANZAROTE CRICKET CLUB with registration number B35849769 with this number we are official cricket team in lanzarote.

Formed in 2006, a squad of players that had not played since their schooldays, Fishermans Cc failed to impress in the first season. In the 2nd season, having retained most of the players from the 1st season, we challenged the top teams but just lost out finishing third overall.
This season with one or two additions to the squad and an excellent sponsor, we are regarded as one of the strongest teams in the league.
