New Year, New Format

For many years it has been a bone of contention with the teams competing for the LCA Championship Sheild that it isn't always the team who win the league that go on to win the Champonship. Infact to be more accurate it has only come to pass once. For your information this was achieved by Lanzarote CC in 2005.
Therefore the format for the league has been changed, doing away with the semi finals and final for the Plate and Championship play-offs and introducing a round robin mini league to decide this season's Championship winners. The league will be split into 2 after all the teams have played each other once. The top 4 playing for the Championship and the bottom 3 playing for the plate.
