20/20 or F15 What is the difference?

20/20 or F15 What is the difference? In an attempt to streamline the LCA season various suggestions were made as to what to do with the cup competitions. In the end it was decided, at the 2010 AGM, that we would concentrate on just one major cup competition and inline with the ICC's development of T/20 it was agreed that the cup would be a similar formula to T/20 but in an attempt to get 2 matches at one ground on the same day we felt that F/15 would suit our situation better.
What the ...... is F/15 I hear you say. Well it is 15 eight ball overs with bowlers only allowed a maximum of 3 overs each. How is this similar to T/20? Well 3 eight ball overs is 24 balls the same as the 4 overs allowed in T/20. There is also the same amount of balls bowled per innings as T/20 and the good news is there is less field changes so more action. Simples!!
The F/15 will be a every team plays each other once with the top 4 teams playing in the semi finals and eventually final to get the F/15 Champion 2010.
